In my opinion, stare decisis is one of the most difficult concepts for undergraduate law students to master. As law students and lawyers know, the concept is so much more nuanced than simply, "a court must follow prior rulings." But it is difficult to sufficiently explore the complexities of this concept in the limited framework of a Legal Environment course. Stephen Colbert has provided this video resource.
